Serene Yoga Studio first opened up in 2008, beginning as a mobile studio. Serene then grew and opened a studio on St. Mary's Road, along with a second location on St. Anne's Road. Serene took the plunge in 2016 and purchased a building at 485 St Anne's Road, which was then beautifully renovated to become the home of Serene Yoga Studio.
Due to the changed circumstances around construction delays and extended COVID closures, Serene made the difficult decision to close its brick & mortar studio in October 2025. Serene continues to offer a 200hr Teacher Training program and will be announcing specialty workshops, events and retreats as they are planned.
No matter where we teach, Serene Yoga Studio can help you alleviate chronic pain and dis-ease in the body & mind, including from past injuries and trauma. If you do not suffer from past injuries or chronic pain, our Serene Yoga Actions approach will allow you to move even deeper into your personal yoga practice.
Studio offers:
- 200hr and 500hr Teacher Trainings
- Advanced Teacher Training (ATT) and Professional Development workshops and trainings that are eligible for CEUs (continuing education units) through the Canadian Yoga Alliance (CYA)
- Private off-site group/corporate yoga classes & workshops
- Special Events
- Retreats
Serene’s teachers are committed to exceptional instruction. With our focus on Serene Yoga Actions, we help make yoga accessible for everyone. Our teachers will help you create balance, ease and stability through yoga & meditation. Our approach enables you to dig deeper and concentrate your awareness in the present moment.
