Q: Where is Serene located?

Serene hosts ongoing programming at locations through Winnipeg and the surrounding area. If you are inquiring about a specific event, workshop or retreat, locations will be announced as they are planned or you can contact the studio for more information.


Q: What should I wear?

Loose fitting exercise or yoga clothing; you need to be able to move comfortably. You will be asked to remove your footwear, and may be asked to remove your socks.


Q: What do I need to bring?

A yoga mat if you have one. If you don't have a mat, we do have high quality mats available for rent at a cost of $2 and they are cleaned after each use. If you are in need of props for an event or workshop, please contact the studio to make arrangements in advance.


Q: What type of payment do you accept?

We accept many forms of payment. Please contact the studio for more information.


Q: Do you sell Yoga products?

We sell a selection of Halfmoon yoga products. The mats and props from Halfmoon are studio quality and are sold at a discount as there is no shipping charges added to the order. Use the discount code "SERENEYOGA" to get 15% off your entire purchase


Q: How do I register for a workshop, event or retreat?

As they are scheduled and announced, the registration information will be posted on our Schedule Page and Pricing Page. You can also feel free to email the studio to inquire about registration if you need assistance.


Q: Can I attend a workshop or event without booking ahead?

Pre-registration is required for all scheduled workshops, events and retreats.


Q: Are there beginner classes?

Most of our workshops, events & retreats will be suitable for all levels of participants, including beginners. Any scheduled offerings where a deeper knowledge of yoga is required will be advertised as such. All of Serene’s instructors are well trained to adjust and modify to different levels of yoga experience.


Q: My mobility is limited due to arthritis in my knees and my hips. What classes do you recommend?

If you are interested in registering for a workshop, event or retreat and you have questions, please email the studio to share your health concerns prior to registration. We use props to support our participants in all our offerings, so we are able to help you participate and feel the benefits even with limited mobility. To ensure your safety, please always inform the instructor of any health concern prior to participating.


Q: I have an injury and my doctor says I should do yoga. What should I do?

Please send us an email briefly describing your health concern prior to registering for any workshop, event or retreat. Our customer service team will respond and provide you with guidance regarding how we can best support you along your healing journey while attending our offerings.


Q: I would like to book private yoga and/or meditation classes. Is this possible?

If you would like to book a private off-site workshop or event, please either email the studio or call us at (204)-504 YOGA (9642) and leave a message.


Q: Our organisation would like to hire a yoga teacher. How do we go about arranging this?

If you would like to book a private off-site workshop, event or retreat for your organization, please either email the studio or call and leave a message with the following information:

  • Location of where sessions will be held
  • Availability - Date and Time
  • Services - Yoga and/or Meditation
  • Single or multiple sessions

Q: What is your cancellation policy regarding specialty workshops, events and retreats?

For specialty workshops, events and retreats we require anywhere from 15-30 days notice prior to the workshop or event for a full refund. Please note, an administrative fee may be charged. Please see our Policies Page for more information or contact the studio to inquire.
